Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center

Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, designed by architect Frank Gehry, consists of the architects signature steel forms. This leading research centre for degenerative brain diseases costs $100 million and consists of two wings connected by an open courtyard. In the ordinary northern part of the building is a research center and hospital, in the creative south part – the life activity center. In the architectural sense, the two parts of the building differ from each other, but they act like two parts of the whole. The life activity center can be rented out for parties, weddings and special occasions with the proceeds going to fund the center’s research.
